I have no idea how nomadic today’s bedouin in Syria still are but it is definitively an interesting idea to have the bedu taking care of broodmares for reason of selection. If they don’t want to ride them along with their own, the broodmares are probably not good enough

I was of course amazed myself when seeing a small bay mare run 7KM flat out fast and effortlessly to win a race the Tai tribe put on for us. These are the original war horses. I enjoyed hearing about Murad’s courage and reminds me of my war mare Anchor Hill Serfa. To have ridden a war horse even once is a true gift of this breed and no doubt reminding us of what it must have been like to ride the famed war mare Wadduda!
