Photo of the day: Ajibah, a desert-bred asil mare from Saudi Arabia

The string of beautiful photos through “pure man” continues. I am glad readers are enjoying it, because one of the main objectives of this blog is to make the case for the desert Arabian horse in its homeland today, and a picture is worth a thousand words. This is ‘Ajibah, a Hamdaniyah, daughter of Haleem. Haleem was featured in a video in an earlier post.

Pure Man, how many horses excatly are in that specific stud and how many foals per year?
Do they sell some of their stock and have these gorgeous horses been exported yet?

  5. Jesus, who said desert bred’s were not typey?? Where are they hiding?

  6. Ok Edouard!
Can we visit this stud, I think it could be of interest…?

  7. I think you can easily visit the government stud in Dirab, where the dappled grey Umm Arqub mare is. I don’t know about the Stud of Prince Turki, from which some of the other horses come from.
