A beautiful head shot of the 1980 asil Kuhaylan Haifi stallion Audobon (Iliad x Audacity by Lysander out of Bint Dharebah by Monsoon), bred by Charles Craver and later owned by Carol Lyons and Marge Smith in Oregon.

Funny, I picked him for a Craver horse the second I saw the pic. The tippy ears, maybe, or the dinner-plate cheek?

… and a member of the Audacity sub-family of the Bint Dharebah family.

A very big eye, no shadow present under his eye to make larger! Just pure pleasure to view, I was always glad for Carol to have had such a horse! (not knowing there was another co-owner) The breeding speaks for itself!

Audobon was my mother’s favorite stallion.
I understand that he and Carol left this earth on the same day, at almost the same time that morning.

That is so. It must have hit Marge especially hard.

Sorry to be so late on this, but yes Carol passed at about the same time as I had Audobon and Sunstone put to rest. It was a really hard day.
