An immense veil of sadness looms over my old father today, who lost one of his best friends.

Long time family friend and premier Syrian Arabian horse breeder Mustafa al-Jabri passed away three days ago in Gazi Antep, Turkey.

My thoughts are with his family now in exile.

  1. I am so sorry. This is a great loss to all of us.

  2. May Allah bless him. It is a tragic loss for all of us.

  3. je suis vraiment désolé.C’est une grande perte pour tout le monde.

  4. It is always sad to hear passings of great people, and this marks a passing I will never forget. Mustafa was a pillar of the desert horse. I will never forget the short time that his beloved Ta’an spent an overnight rest in my barn, enroute to Colorado, and his hospitality in 1996 leaves an indelible impression of the true character of people who lived their lives in the cradle of the Arabian horse.

  5. Condolences to your father on the loss of his friend, and also to the family of Mustafa Al-Jabri.
