Edouard: Dr. Deb Bennett is preparing a third part in her series on Arabians in the U.S. and needs pictures and info about the Davenports, Kellog horses and Hearst breeding. She writes for Equus magazine and her stuff is usually pretty well researched. She was the one who quantified how horses arch their necks to completely go into true collection in the late 1970’s and early 80’s. She is the founder of conformational analysis in the modern sense and is an advocate of humane training methods used by natural horsemanship and classical high school.
It would be very helpful if some of the Davenport, Hearst, and Kellog breeders could send her pictures and info about their horses. She can be reached online at Equine Studies Institute.
best wishes

That’s Khaled (Mahrous x Khalidah) first called Amr. Not sure what he was eventually registered as. He is a Saqlawi Jadran of the marbat of Holo al-Holo of the Adwan tribe, but back to the marbat of Dari al-Mahmud of the Shammar Zoba, itself tracing back to the Saqlawi Jadrans of ‘Anazah..
