DA Ginger Moon in April 2016

DA Ginger Moon (“Ginger”, by DB Destiny Moniet x Kumence RSI by Monietor RSI), my 1998 Saqlawiyah of Ibn Dirri is looking increasingly good and has stopped loosing weight and even started gaining some. The last shot is from February 2016, with Chris Yost, who owns Ginger’s 2014 yearling colt El Moubarak BLY.

  1. I love looking at photos of Ginger Moon, especially the bottom image. She has really filled out since the gorgeous head shot of her from last July. Thanks for posting her progress!

  2. Hi Mr.Edouard good a have day for you .

Mr. Edouard i would like to know abut dahmah um amer strain . naw which is country that thay have from this strain and it.s pure bloodline.

  3. Edouard, thanks for sharing these photos. I have to tell you that all 4 of her grandparents are some of the best horses I had seen in person.Sir White Moon was in Michigan and was trained and shown by Nelson Miller and I enjoyed watching him in performance. Sierra Sady I only saw once at Rob Doherty’s place as an old mare on lease but she confirmed my impression of how great a cross Serg was with the Doyle mares. Monietor RSI of course is a full sibling to other famous Pritzlaff bred horses, but he was one of Richard Pritzlaff’s favorites as he was easy to handle and breed and he had an excellent disposition not to mention that he was very athletic. I believe I have some movies of Richard riding him. And the final grandparent, Kumoniet was one of my favorites at Richard’s place. I have movies of her. She is the classic old Schreyer grey Arabian mare, big eyes, chiseled look and so well bred and so noble. She had what I call the special quality of “quiet dignity” which shows nobility without much effort. A very special mare indeed. I might add that I also have movies of Sir White Moon’s sire Tibor The General where Richard is lounging him at liberty without any ropes, only just by voice commands. He was a very intelligent and a dry and fine classic looking tall bay stallion.

  4. DA EL Moubarak BLY is now 26 months old. He is doing very well. I am now riding him with a goal of 30 times before the snow flies here in Idaho. I rode him today for the 8th time and he is doing very well. He is smart and willing to respond to our very short rides in the enclosed arena. I will leave him alone for the winter and then put another 30 times on him in the spring. With his breeding, like his full sister DA Ebony Moon AHA # 619358, qualifying for the following bloodline groups: Al Khamsa, Sheykh Obeyd Foundation & The Pyramid Society, I am thinking that he should remain a Stallion!!! To that end, we are training him to be collected for AI breeding. We have collected him once with 100 cc of semen which showed 148 X 10 to the 6 sperm count and 80% motility. I wish to have a stallion that I can ride endurance on. I am going to advertise in the Endurance News hoping to give a free breeding to the 1st 10 registered Arabian mares that have completed the 100 mile ride in one day the TEVIS CUP. This was Ebony’s first 100 mile ride with a completion! Edouard, I will send you a photo of Mou tacked up on the walker ready for ride #3.
    As always Chris
