I have written time and again that this horse was one of my all time favorites, judging from pictures only. I own a daughter of his full blood-sister, Dakhala Sahra (Plantagenet x Soiree by Sir), and I am trying to breed her through ET. I hope something good will come out.
Buena suerte!!! Estoy seguro que va a salir algo extraordinario.El caballo es magnifico.En Chile no tenemos caballos árabes Daevenport, por lo que los conozco solamente por fotos y los artículos escritos en este blog.Gracias por darme la oportunidad de aprende.
Love this! I am just learning about these guys, but I have this guy’s daughter. She’s been and continues to be a great horse. I wish I had had time to look into this background earlier in her life. Who was his sire?
Dakhala Sabiq was sired by the very handsome Davenport stallion Prince Hal. A picture of Prince Hal can be seen at:

Thank you Joe! I’ve had so much fun finding pictures of my girl back through the male line, back to Hanab. I may need to finally register Sassy in my name after owning her for 16 years, so I can research her mother’s line as well No wonder she’s such a great horse, this girl has trained a lot of young riders.
