You will probably like this mare as well then http://www.arabians.de/arabians/Pferde/ziona.html, pedigree looks clean at first glance
Maybe you try to include her as well, a prelude to get tunesian asils accepted by the Asil Club 🙂
I found this years sales list as well http://www.fnarc.nat.tn/cat_vente2013.pdf, at first glance about a quarter to a third of the horses could still have clean pedigrees but the Manganat’s and Amer’s are also prominent.
Btw what did the “revolution” do to local horse breeding? Has it been preserved or not? Friends of ours went on vacation to Djerba and said most shops were closed and felt unsafe to wander outside the resort
O would like to invite those who have further information about the above foundation horses to add them to this exchange, so as to facilitate this process.
Patrick, the horse needs to be in the USA to be eligible..

oh, Kina, I am extremely grateful for you to have taken the time to look up, gather and type all this information. I don’t have the SBFAR. Thank you so much!!! 🙂
You are welcome Edouard, spellings are as in SBF (presumably phonetic Arabic to French?). Just email me if you need anything else, I have photocopies of all the early SBF volumes (equivalent of GSB). I also have all their progeny lists of purebreds, as you know a lot of the Arabian stallions, especially the earlier imports, were also used in their cavalry horses breeding programmes. Best wishes! Kina

Thank you. We also know he was bought in Egypt, and that he must have been a close relative to the US import *Mohalhil, from same strain same tribe, born a year apart, and with whom he bore a striking resemblance
Hello, i Will be so glad if any one can inform me about the strain of two tunisian fondation mares imported both from orient: em tayra1938 and mansourah1934.
Please answer me.
i have the same question as you Abdel and I don’t know the answer. Perhaps in the old french studbooks you will find the answer.
