Random thoughts

Yesterday, as I received the papers of the 26 year old Dakhala Sahra from Kathryn Busch, I said to myself: “Heck, this is the sixth horse I’ve owned in this country” (Wisteria, her filly and her colt =3; Jadiba =4; Monologue jointly with Darlene =5; Sahra =6; plus Chelsea who is a lease from Doris); then came this second thought, immediately after the first one: “I don’t own these horses, they own me”. I think about them day and night.

Third thought, just now: “There must be something wrong with me, really”.

  1. Oh gosh, you hardly have a herd! Wait until you can keep them at home and have a field full of babies, your heart could burst from joy just watching them frolic on a crisp fall morning.

  2. There is a “Hadith” (saying for Prophet Mohammed) that says: when God created the Arabian horse he allowed him an accepted request. So the horse prayed: my lord, you gave me to son of Adam, so make me among his most beloved sons and properties!” .. so your case proves your horses are Arabians :))

  3. I love the fact that your sahra is Tail female Haide through the very first breeding program for purebreds in the USA. Do you have any plans for the old girl?

  4. I feel with you Edouard,
because i collected many old mares too. What can we do? This is the only chance to save the lines.
Try to save the damline of Haidee (1869) ,if it is possible!

    Best wishes,
    László

  5. When you meet your first Arabian horse, your soul is tied for eternity…it’s why it was hard to let Sahra go….. It just doesn’t have any foundation in reason…… She led me to you and the Cravers, and that I am very grateful for…
