Regency CF
The grand Hamdani Simri stallion Regency CF (Ibn Alamein x Bint Antan by El Alamein) died last week at age 31. Of the more than 600 (!) Davenport stallions horses (of course) bred by Charles Craver over more than 50 years from dozens and dozens of stallions, 76 (more than 15%) are his direct offspring. Photo from the Craver Farms collection.
Well, it is 600 Davenports, not 600 stallions, but there were times it felt like that!
Regency was a wonderful horse. Charles recognized him at birth as a horse he had been waiting for. He was always healthy, fertile until his last few years, always a gentleman. He never even tangled his mane, and that is a rare gift.
oh, i’m sad for you, but he had a long life.
You can easily see that he had everything rolled into one package, confirmation and type. Looked very cmkish- or rather the cmk’s look very Regency cfish.
best wishes

just old american arabian horse type. not a sea horse on sticks.
Crying out for a saddle!
A REAL (as opposed to surreal, see above) Arab.
