Two asil Kuhaylat al-Hayf mares now in the United Arab Emirates
I just got word that two asil mares of the Kuhaylan Hayfi strain, from the horses tracing to the desert-breds imported by Homer Davenport to the USA in 1906, were exported to the United Arab Emirates. Both are now owned by Mohammed Bin Humooda of Al-‘Ain, UAE. They are Affinity CF (Javera Thadrian x Audacity) bred by Craver Farms and Jadah Beshan (Baile La Bamba x Cinnabar CF) bred Randall and Mary Sue Harris. Mr. Bin Humooda already owns a number of asil Saqlawi Jadran horses bred by the Doyle family, as well as an asil Hadban Enzahi stallion bred by the Dirks family who is being used in endurance racing. This exportation is encouraging news for the asil Arabian, and a sign of Arab breeders’ emerging interest in old USA-bred, asil bloodines. May there be more of these.
Below is a picture of Audacity, Affinity’s dam, and another of Javera Thadrian, Affinity’s sire, with Nancy Becker on top.
It is very good. Nice to see this fantastic asil horses in the ancestral land,Arabia.
My dear 8 years old asil mare Fatimahh ( Wahhabit x 205 Farag II.)is somewhere in Oman too.Fatimahh is a 60 Adjuze descendent, old Babolna asil.I hope somebody will breeding with these mares.

If you get me the name of her owner, my contact in Oman can try to locate her..
Every time I see this photo of Javera Thadrian I can’t help thinking he looks as if he’s just escaped from a merry-go-round and he and the rider are off on a Real Adventure.
Maybe one of these days we’ll have a Davenport mare here in Italy as well.
Sorry Edouard,
it was not a direct export, I sold the mare for a german, who exported Fatimahh. So I don’t know her owner. Please locate this mare through your Oman contact!

why is not registered in Datasource?
Maybe this mare is exported for the Police or , I don’t know..or maybe for the cavalry, but not for breed, I’m afraid.

That must be DDA Semper Fi you are talking about. I breed a Davenport Hadban filly for the Dirks that went over there. I wonder if she is still alive? Her name is DDA Basma (DDA Tyreb CF X DDA Antikat).

She is still alive!
By the way, I really liked Silverton in a recent Augu. 2009 video I recently saw on youtube..
That is great that she is still alive the only one from her dam DDA Antikat that is that I know of. I wonder what she looks like now. I got to see her just before she left her as a yearling.
The person that did the video of Diane Lyons horses and other Davenport horses is going to try to put together another Video that has stuff from Craver farms and what she took in 2009.
