He looks a sturdy young chap. Also, is he shedding in dark liver chestnut?
I think the rule of thumb is that the first foal shed is always much darker than they really will be, with possible exception to greys, roans, and perhaps some other color mutations. My guess is he’ll be similar in color to his sire.
His dam is dark liver chestnut, so it’s anyone’s guess!
