Invictus Al Krush, Krushan Davenport stallion
I finally dug up these two screenshots from a video of the Davenport stallion Invictus Al Krush, which the late Carol Lyons had given to Randall Harris. He is the sire of Jadah BelloftheBall and the grandsire of Barakah Al Arab and Bassmah Al Arab. Belle has his big, long head.
Looks like a horse from the Parthenon frieze come to life in the second photo.
I was thinking rather along the same lines, myself. Classy, even classical, sort of type. 😛
Wouldn’t look out of place here in Namibia. He’s GORGEOUS!!
Big long head- Smig long head- His head is perfectly ok. It does what horses heads are sposed to do and that is provide a place for large functional eyes that can scan his evironment, house his nostrils, and take in nourishment with a sufficiently large mouth to house proper sized teeth with space for a bit to rest without causing problems.. Vastly more important is to note his ability to perform an extremely collected canter. Note how his back is lifted, and his pelvis is tucked underneath himself. He moves like a proper horse should- not like a cow, which parenthetically is how many halter horses move.

I like big long heads, I did not mean it in a bad way!
His head balances his body, artistically.
