Jenan, 1999 Hamdani Simri stallion in Iran
Hussain Ghasemi sent me these head shots of the 1999 Hamdani stallion Jenan (Assad x Venus by Dowran) in Iran. Many of his ancestors including the Arras, Samarquand, and Dowran have been featured here before.
It would also nice to see some of the Iranian asil mares,
You know, we have a Davenport stallion here that could be a brother to this horse…. Very interesting!!!

Jeanne, the moment I saw these photos above I could not get over how much they remind me of my Fa El Echo (Char Echo x Sirbana) even as to markings!
Fa El Echo was bay however, not liver chestnut, but otherwise very similar.
