Tohama, Saqlawiyah Jadraniyah tracing to Roga (Ali Pasha Sharif) at the EAO

In my opinion, the 1984 Saqlawiyah mare Tohama (Akhtal x Ibdaa by Ikhnatoon x Ibtisam by Nazeer x Mouna by Sid Abouhom) was one of the nicest mares at the EAO in the 1980s. Photo by Judi Parks.

  1. Very nice! A friend of ours went to the EAO in the mid-90s. They were casual visitors, so weren’t interested in identifying the different horses, but their videos contained many lovely horses. We were impressed.

  2. Many of the mares are very different in type from what you see in the US. Much more deserty and Bedouin like. There is a lot more of the Inshass blood and of the El Deree and Anter sire lines than in the mainstream US lines, where Ibn Halima and Morafic really marked the type.

  3. Very nice horse.
I am searching for a horse mare or colt which is black or bay.
If there is anything for sale please make me proposal.
