Yesterday, I finally received my own copies of our book “The Arabian Horses of Abbas Pasha – New Discoveries: The 1860 Abbas Pasha Sale List and Other Original Documents” in the mail. It really does look very nice.

A big huge thank you! to all who worked on this beautiful publication. It’s a wonderful addition to any Arabian enthusiast’s collection.
The book I’ve been waiting for for so long finally arrived this afternoon. Since it came from outside the EU, from a third country, I had to wait for the customs procedure. It wasn’t an easy few weeks.
My first impressions:
What a flood of information, how many important, hitherto unknown small details of a puzzle that can help put together the missing elements of the past of our beloved horse breed. Maybe this book won’t solve all the mysteries that concern us, but I can already see that it will bring us much closer to solving them. First-hand information from reliable sources helps to connect the origin of our horses with the Bedouin breeding.
Thanks to Edouard for many years of work, and thanks of course to the co-authors, Kate and Moira. Last but not least, about the aesthetics of the publication:
Thanks to the design and graphic work of Joe Ferriss, I have a beautiful, elegant book that is nice to hold in hand.
Although I had other plans, every free minute on Saturday and Sunday will be spent reading. It promises to be an exciting weekend…..

Hi Silvia, unfortunately the book sold out a couple months after it was published! I am so sorry! We are thinking about a second edition, and will make sure to let you know about it in due time.
