Fatimah

I just couldn’t get this mare out of my mind, so I decided to post this Klynstra photo I found of her.

Fatimah (Fol Gamil x Foze, by Nazeer) 1972 arabian mare. Bred at Hamdan stables, imported in utero by W. George Olms to Germany then went to Dr. F. B. Klynstra, Kingdom of the Netherlands.

This makes Fatimah a maternal half-sister to Bint Foze (imp), a mare well known to Southern Africa breeders. Here is a link to a photo of her taken at Dr. Valérie Noli-Marais’ Sahiby Stud.

I found three foals of Fatimah:

Fakrah, 1979 grey mare sired by Hamasa Zarif (Farag x Shar Zarqa, by Negem).

*Fagilah, 1981 grey mare sired by AK Khattar Moniet (Amaal x AK Monisa Moniet, by Ibn Moniet el Nefous). A photo of her is in the Asil Araber.

Fozefah, 1982 chestnut mare sired by Gustl Eutermoser’s stallion Masir (Mehanna x Bint Shahbaa, by Gassir).
