This nice portrait of the Syrian desert-bred stallion Nimr Shabareq unfortunately sold on Feb. 2013. I wish I had know about it.
He was bred by Radwan Shabareq of Aleppo and is now stationed in France.
Apparently he was already sold some time ago, he raced in 2010 (arriving last) owned by Haras de Syrah (Jean-Luc Jardel)

I meant the portrait was sold, not the horse, who is still owned by Jardel.
