Nusara
The 1919 broodmare Nusara (Abu Zeyd x Noam), a Kuhaylah Da’janiyah, bred by W.R. Brown then sold to W.K. Kellogg, is a very present in pedigrees of Crabbet horses from the Doyle family. I had not seen a photo of her before.

Neat to see her! Paternal half-sister to Sher-I-Khurshid, the sire of Jiddan, whose success as a stallion in South Africa led to the importation of Zahir, Barakah and Nabilah.
I hope we can carry on her legacy with our breedings this year to the two Doyle stallions Cascade DE and Antar DE!
