Photo of the Day: Chira, last asil mare to carry El Gadaa’s blood
Teymur Abdelaziz of Germany sent me this photo of the 1993 grey mare Chira (Saymoon x Cylia by Madkour I), a great-great-grand daughter of Nafaa, the desert-bred Kuhaylah mare gifted by Ibn Saud to the king of Egypt in the 1940s.
Chira is unique in the sense is that she is the last mare to trace to Nafaa through Nafaa’s daughter Bint Nafaa (by El Gadaa) and as such, the last mare to carry El Gadaa’s blood. Read more about Bint Nafaa and her sire El Gadaa here.
I am glad to know Teymur is working on preserving this precious line, which is so close to some of the choicest desert bloodlines. Best of luck with that, Teymur.
I hope that Chira get to be pregnant.
A filly would satisfy me, with this I could then build my breeding on the basis of the line of Bint Nafaa.
The father of a future foal will be “Madin Ibn Sinan”
a son of Ansata Sinan.
Madin shows more filly.
His ancestry could not be better. His parents are both very successful show horses.
Madin Ibn Sinan completed in Neustadt / Dosse success with his stallion performance test. With a score of 7,05, he earned 3rd Place. He gefiehl especially in the canter and rideability. At a gallop in the hunt test grounds, he received a 9.0 and was thus the fastest.
He is a long-legged, correct stallion with fabulous expression. Madin is very fine and therefore ideal for finishing. In Association Stallion Show in Aachen, he was admitted for all Arab racial groups. His breeding is top class!

Amara by Fol Gamil (Chestnut,born 1972)
Horse Database, shows that this Mare brought a Filly (Alexandria 1978) from Aswan !!! ???
Alexandria had two Fillys:Amarna (1989)by Saturn a Kasr El Nil Son,and Ahlam (Chestnut 1993) by Ibn Galal 22.
Can anyone confirm this information?
Where are these mares and their offspring?
Who was the breeder?
