Photo of the day: Confetti CF and Provance CF
Speaking of jewels (Confetti CF is on the left, Provance CF on the right):
Edouard, take this out if you want — but their owner, Mary Ann Brewer, has decided to stop breeding, and is offering these two Kuhaylat, and Tokens Ceelen (a straight Davenport mare, tail female to Schilla) on a free lease to interested Davenport breeders. Contact her for details — she’s in Texas.
These lovely mares are from my all-time favorite Davenport lines. If I only had a farm…
I hear you, Jenny. I’ve had to lease and board all my life. Still, any tiny bit that one can do, certainly helps!
I will not delete it, because there is no money involved. As you know, I don’t do ads or rescues, except when there are extremely rare lines involved.
Both Jenny and Cathie have done their share, farm or no!!
I am happy to report that these two mares, with Tokens Ceelen, are now with Hazaim Alwair in Greenville, NC. Thanks to Mary Ann Brewer for helping to make this happen.
Congratulations, Hazaim, and our best wishes to everyone!
Hazaim, now you have to tell us what breedings you’re thinking about. 😀
He’s still looking. Any suggestions? There are two good stallions in Alabama.. 🙂
Congratulations! I’m not sure about shipping capabilities, but Khurafa Ibn Nudar (Nuudaar x Anjou CF) is with Fred Brewster a bit west of Leesburg VA. He might be interesting with Provance, given as they’re half-siblings.
Randy Abler and Gail Wells have some excellent stallions in Georgia…
i contacted them, they have none for sale now..
Is Hazaim looking to acquire a stallion (whether by lease or purchase) or breed to one that ships? Porte CF ships, as I’ve said before. I would love to see those mares bred to Presto CF in WV, but I don’t know that they’re equipped to ship. I know she’s at the opposite end of the country from the Carolinas, but if I wanted a core Haifi stallion I’d take my trailer to Diane Lyons’ in Oregon.
He is looking for one to sell/lease. I told him he could use Aurene CF who is not too far from him, and is getting set to ship, but he prefers to own/lease, because he and his partner who keeps the horses at the farm, want to use the horse on some non-AK (Polish) Arabians and non-Arabians (quarter horses, English TB) as well. I have asked Diane about some, but a good option for now are Tesio CF (Atticus CF x Oreana CF) and/or Lorenzo CF (Lyristes x Diriyah CF) with Anita Westfall in Alabama.
