Shaman is looking great

I am very impressed with this young lad. And I thought his half-brother and close Ma’naqi Sbayli relative Shaykh was already a winner! Shaman looks more “old Egyptian”, Shaykh more “Crabbet”. Hard to choose between the two. They both speak well for their sire, Tamaam DE, who met an untimely death last year. Photos by Rosemary and Terry Doyle.

This young maanaqi one of a kind and hope will substitute halab with the blood lines both carried

From any starain you will ever hear about if it was hadoud or not the manaqi sbeylli is the one you always have to cover your mare with
That was what the elders said and have agreed on when it exist and avilable

This is a fine looking boy and god bless your marbat

  2. Ah yes, now we get a good look at Shaman. What a handsome colt! I recognize your assessment that he has more the look of old Egyptian and Shaykh looking more Crabbet. They are reflections of their individual pedigrees, Shaykh having a Doyle sire and maternal grandsire. Shaman has lovely shoulder and hip angles, short back, nice legs, large low placed eyes and wonderful angular nostrils. Congratulations on the dubious honor of having to choose between them.
