Shamsah and Karmah this weekend
DeWayne was at the Doyle ranch this weekend and took photos of two year old Shamsah Al Arab (Cascade DE x SS Lady Guenevere, b. 2023), the dark chestnut one; and long weanling Karma Al Arab (Bashir Al Dirri x Kinza Al Arab, b. 2024), the lighter chestnut one. I am equally pleased with both in general. Good blood does not lie and always delivers, the challenge is to recognize it.

Nice! Nice! Nice!.. Couplings that could repair genetically damaged thoroughbreds..

A lovely pair. Nice to get a canter shot as well. Shamsah’s blaze and stockings really remind me that she has a lot of Crabbet blood.
The blaze yes, but I thought Crabbet chestnuts tended to have four stockings or at least the two hind ones? You’d know more
Two very nice young mares you bred there, Edouard! Karma is filling up nicely since our visit last fall and looks already almost as mature as Shamsah, which is in this teenager state now:). I will have another hard look at Karma in 3 weeks when we are at the Doyles;).
You can bring her back with you if you wanted
We would be honored to have her; I sent you a pm.
