Don’t sweat foal necks. You can judge when they are wet, but as soon as they stand and start using them to balance, they become turtles. Just give him time.
Good three circle conformation and long, relatively level croup. Good!
That’s what my father told me: that you can judge a foal up to the first six hours after birth, and you need to wait six years. Where do you see three circles? All i see is legs!
Angle of the photo is not good to judge the neck. The rest is nice though.
Actually he’s way better than a three circle horse now.. His functional back is at least ten percent shorter than the length of his hip. The back will of course get longer as he matures, but then so will his hip and shoulder too, but at different rates of growth of course. Good looking colt.
He is a chunk. Going to be a strong stallion in his prime.
