We need to find who that Cheikh El Ourbane was. He came from Syria in the 1940s.
Edouard, I added what I could find.
There is a very good photo of sheikh el ourbane in the excellent book by Jean-Claude di Francesco which has just been published. On the other hand he does not give more precision on its origin: the tribe the exact place!
I wonder if Cheikh El Ourbane was part of the same importation batch as Ghalbane and Masbout.
