Polynesia LD, a 1993 bay Saqlawiyah Jidraniyah, is one of the glories of the late Carol Lyons’ “Sharp” program (Al Khamsa Arabians with no Blunt ancestry). As mentioned in the comment thread on his entry, her dam was a granddaughter of Mista-Bin. The gray with her is the Blue Star yearling filly Awasef, a ‘Ubayyan who is tail female to *Muhaira, previously discussed here.

I understand her owner is now selling her.
Polynesia LD has been with me since September of 2012. She is currently expecting a April 2015 foal by the Davenport stallion Fire Dragon LF (Bon Jour CF x Dekadas LF).
P.S. Polynesia’s two half sisters, Snow Princess LD (Karimkhan x LD Ice Capade) 1990 grey mare and AAB Shahmonix (Pal-Ara James Bond x LD Ice Capade) 1997 grey mare, are also with me. The three mares are all the Asil/Al Khamsa female offspring of the Sharp mare LD Ice Capade.
Polynesia LD foaled a lovely bay Sharp filly April 23rd,sire is the Davenport stallion Fire Dragon LF. She will be named DI (Desert Ice)Pele, for the Hawaiian volcano goddess
