From time to time, I see nice photos posted on Facebook, which I feel deserve to be featured here. This is one of them. I don’t know the source or the photographer. That stare.. [Update: a cranky reader cited Ilo Battigelli as the photographer in the comments]
I believe the photo was taken by Italian photographer Ilo Battigelli, who worked for Aramco between 1946 and 1954. I have seen a date given for the photo of 1948.
And yes, her keen eye is captivating.
