Landrace Belisarius (Jamr Al Arab x Jadah BelloftheBall) owned by Moira Walker, is looking very promising at three years of age. He represents what an Arabian stallion looked like for much of the breed’s history in the West, pretty much until the 1970s, what it looks like in preservation breeders’ hands, and what it ought to look like in the future, in my view. Hopefully, the “extreme” type of halter horse will just be a blip in the breed’s history.
