This is not an unidentified horse, this is ASSAD El-GABAL. If you stop with the mouse on the photo for a second you will see a note appearing.
The horse is mentioned in the herdbook of Abduallah Saoud El-Tahawy as a Dahman Amer of Jarallah Ibm Twerish bought from Syria in 1356 Hejri (1937) and it ran in the race before being sold to Hamid Quwaita El-Tahawy. The herdbook also mentions one daughter of Assad El-Gabal.
This blog is maintained by Edouard al-Dahdah, a breeder and lover of Desert Arabian Horses, and otherwise a Senior Eonomist at the World Bank in Washington, DC. It seeks to share a passion, of course, but also to raise awareness about desert Arabian horses, their homeland and their heritage. Keep reading and I will keep posting.

Forgot to say that the man in the photo is Mohammed Othman Abdullah Saoud El-Tahawy (father of our friend Mohammed).
