A handsome young lad!
Congratulations to Kim Davis! This colt is the spectacular result of her herculean effort, to obtain and return to production, a unique, aged stallion who previously only had 2 Davenport daughters to his credit. Kim has now given Othello LD a very worthy tail male replacement.
This one is really a nice one. I think he might be bay, though, with the reddish undertones that he has.
Maybe a dark bay or brown? That would be beautiful as well.
Fantastic–go, Kim!
She is a talented and accomplished breeder who has stayed true to her goals from the beginning.
Totally agree, Jenny. Kim has just quietly gone about fulfilling her goals, and I admire her so much. As in so many cases, it has not come easily.
I admire her too.
Congratulations!!!!!
Kim has produced four very lovely Davenports this year. I think this one my have edged out the others as my favorite, however, even if the newest colt has the most precious little floating white spot on his nearside fore.
