I am looking for a template with placeholders for the names of the parents, the grandparents, the great-grandparents, etc. which can be printed later. I am tired of doing all that stuff by hand.

I don’t know of any software or apps, but I have lots of pedigree forms, eight generation printed on good quality, ivory stock, left over from my pedigree service days. I occasionally still do a display pedigree, but mostly folks do such things online nowadays.
If you like, I can send you a sample to see if it would meet your needs. Let me know.
Cathie, so you would fill these by hand?
Hmm. Probably not what you’re looking for. These are more for the finished product, perhaps with some good caligraphy. Hopefully someone out there knows a good app. Have you tried Google?
I personally like http://www.sporthorse-data.com Can quickly become addicting for economists who like to do simulations of testbreedings…
but you have to pay them to use this simulation service don’t you?
The Sporthorse Database is free (for now) and my favorite. Pictures and crosses etc.
Thank you!
