I wish so, too. Even more, I wish there was some frozen semen from him that we could use to cross with some of the Davenport mares of the Kuhaylan Haifi strain. Fun to check the mtDNA with it, as long as I’m dreaming!
With his tipped in ears he does look Davenportish.

I think he does, too. The ears, eyes and nostrils all speak to me.
Maybe a bit like Daedalus DL, but not as intense?

Did he tell you that it didn’t survive? It wouldn’t shock me if he or someone else had it squirreled away somewhere — Piotr showed me a small section of his bit collection the other day, which was dozens of bits, some of which dated well into the 19th century.
He did not tell me anything. I meant to say I hope it has survived.
