More Shams
Shams Al Arab (Cascade DE x SS Lady Guenevere) is built like a tank. Jeanne Craver and I were discussing whether her muscular hindquarter was more like that of a Doyle horse or whether it was more characteristic of the Drissula horses. She think it’s the latter and that her old mare Soiree (Sir x Sirrulya by Julyan) was like that. Julyan certainly produced horses built like that. She appears to have nice full triangles- both back and front. Lay those over with muscle and you get the powerful tank like confirmation. Examples of that would be the pen and inks of Obayan 1895.
