This mare, Jauhar El-Khala, is arguably one of the pretties asil Kuhaylah Hayfiyah mares of Davenport bloodlines in the USA. Click on this link and then use the arrows to scroll for more pictures. She is very reminiscent of the prettiest Syrian desert-breds. Photos by C. Emmert, I think. Don’t you think she is just stunning?
That’s right: Christine Emmert, who is lucky enough to be the owner and good enough to be the photographer!
Mashalah she’s pretty .she had that extra spart wide eyed desert look .
If I believed in past lives I would say this beauty is Marilyn Monroe returned to us in equine form.
A clearly square built mare with a strong body, good shoulders and a well-set neck. Her look is not “extreme” – she is not one of those pretty little girls that conquer European show rings. But she has the dignity of a desert queen.
If you look at her dry chiseled face with the expressive eyes you can almost sense the desert’s breath. She is one of those rare individuals that would look good under a Bedouin rider.
Alhamdullilâh…
What a beautiful mare with the bonus of strength and power.
Hi Edouard
Thank you!
I had just posted new pictures at 23 on Facebook (those above were taken when she was 20). I did e-mail them to Jeanne Craver.
I don’t know how to post pictures here.
PS. check your Facebook page Edouard.
Edouard, if you want me to email them to you, just let me know!
Yes, please Jeanne. Could you? I’d be very grateful
I will Christine. Lucky you to be the owner!
