Update: that Arabic font is not working. I am giving up.
Please bear with me as I update the look and feel of this blog. It’s been twelve years since the last update. Blog design has changed a lot since then. I am also trying to enable Arabic language entries. Let me know what you think of the new design.
أول سطر عربي في مدونة بنات الريح
Oh, good, this was intentional. At first I thought my browser had royally broken your blog!
Hi Mr. Edouard ,
I do like the new design, on the other hand , yes , enabling the Arabic language entries will help a lot .
The increase in font size makes it much easier to read; I’m still getting used to the fact that the sidebar has been stre-e-e-etched, so more scrolling than before. Very excited about the possibility of Arabic language entries!
Thanks for the feedback. At least there is floating button on the bottom right that allows to go back all the way up.
I am not seeing that on my Opera desktop browser. Is that a mobile feature, or something else?
I find that I VERY much like the nesting of replies in the comment section, now. This will make some of the comment chains much more readable.
Looks good! Including entries/comments in Arabic would be great.
(I like it best when the “front page” has pictures.)
Does this theme say it supports Arabic? Did you try to install Arabic fonts after applying it?
?
It says it does, that’s why I chose it. Yes, I tried. It seems that because you need both Right to Left and Left to Right you cannot have both at the same time, but i may be wrong.
As you can tell, Yasser the magician was able to add Arabic script to this blog. I am over the moon.
