This morning Jeanne Craver reminded me of this picture of the Bahrani stallion Shawaf (BHRSP3), a stud at the mounted police, of the ancient and precious Shawafan strain. It is in the first volume of the Bahrain studbook.
Shawaf, of the Bahraini mounted police
Thanks to RJ Cadranell, who took a quick snap of it for me, as I’m working through a spreadsheet of Bahraini pedigrees!
I wish I could sit a horse as good as the mounted officer does!Best
