  1. Indeed! good round hindquarters, good substance. I can see why Albert Harris liked to use davenport blood. I’m thinking her overall body balance is pretty close to level too. Nice neck set. I’ll bet she’s a nice mover also.

  2. I thought her breeding is davenport.. But apparently not so according to all breed pedigree..

  3. I can assure you, Bruce! She is all Davenport, and I helped deliver her, and helped with the breeding, so I can swear to it! Edouard, you want a hujjah?

  4. I tried to put a grin symbol in there, but I messed up the XHTML code! Sorry. But just pretend you can see me grinning!

  5. Hmm, well that’s not the first time the all breed pedigree screen has given out a bum steer. Not doubting her asil qualifications at all, just seemed odd they would be so off…

  6. Jeanne what about this, just for fun:

I, Jeanne Craver, of the Hussong tribe, testify, that the gray filly with a blaze on her face and a stocking on her left hind leg, now eight years old, is a Kuhaylah Hayfiyah from the marbat of Charles and Jeanne Craver; her sire is a Kuhaylan Hayfi from the same marbat; and so are the sire of her dam, of her grand-dam, her great-grand-dam, and all her ancestors for four generations, and born with us; I testify that this marbat has been with us for the past sixty years; she is purer than milk and can be mated in the darkest night; and we don’t testify about the unknown, and God is the best of witnesses.
