A lovely picture of mare and foal both. Looks like Zitra may have had some very flashy stockings.
Kate, Zitra is the mare, are you thinking she is the foal? Jeanne probably has the markings diagram of the filly (El Kara 152 by Maleik) and can tell how much of that is stockings and how much is highlights.

No need to bother Jeanne. El Kara’s stud book markings are “blaze, right fore leg white.” It appears rest of it is highlights. I grant that’s not what we would call a blaze, but the right foreleg is clearly a stocking.
