Treasure trove of old USA Arabian horse photos on Flickr
Moira Walker just shared this Flickr stream. Many never seen before photos of US foundation stock, especially of Segario, *Nejdran, *Ibn Mahruss, *Shahwan and *Obeyran, others perhaps as well. Each photo deserves an article. Is that large photo of *Hamrah also new, towards the middle of the stream? Aaaahhh!
Okay, now I’m REALLY glad that I decided to share them. They’re all from public domain, open source books, fyi, so feel free to use them as you desire. I’ll get to work on making sure that I have in their descriptions links to all of the digitized works I found them in.

You ladies are fantastic! Any chance you have done research on Dwarka? I would be soooo interested.
No, not particularly. He hasn’t quite hit our radar like Ishtar has, but we can always add him to our list of horses to keep an eye out for. That said, Kate did turn up a Facebook page, Dartmoor Pony Chronicle, which has several photos of Dwarka and quite a bit of articles that reference him to varying degrees of depth.
Well, if we’re making a little list, I would suggest extending the radar to *Shabaka, Mameluke, Kesia II and Kesia. Since you’ve found Ishtar it seems anything may be possible.
